Steven J. Lukes, 60, of Waterloo died Saturday evening at the Methodist Hospital, Rochester, Minn. of multiple myeloma.

    Scott J. “Scooter” Stendel, 46, of Decorah, died Monday, June 23, at his home, following a farming accident.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 27, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, Decorah, with Rev. Phillip Gibbs officiating. Burial will be in  Greenwood-Centennial Cemetery, Ossian.

    Otilda “Tillie” (Moravetz) Larkin, 99 a longtime resident of New Hampton, passed away Tuesday, June 24, at New Hampton Care Center.   Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 28, at Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph’s Center, New Hampton.

    Edward A. Dietzenbach, age 87, died June 19, at his home following a long illness.  Funeral mass is Monday June 23, 2 p.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church, St. Lucas.  Burial will be at St. Luke's Cemetary.

    Eva Duneman, 86, of New Hampton, died Friday, June 20,  at Allen Hospital in Waterloo.   Funeral Services will be  2 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hampton.   Burial will be in New Hampton Cemetery.

    Russell A. Huebner, 82, of New Hampton, died Tuesday, June 17,  at his home.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 20, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Fredericksburg

    Charles O. Lynch, 68, a native of New Hampton, died April 24, at St. Luke's Hospital in New York City following a long illness.
    Mass of Christian burial was held 11 a.m. Monday, April 28 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, New York City, with Reverend Michael Tyson officiating.
A private interment was to be held at a later date.

    James Edward Balek, 83, died Saturday, June 14, at Muse-Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.  A funeral service will be Thursday, June 19, 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Mason City.   Interment will be at Elmwood-St.Joseph Cemetery, Mason City.

    John G. Walters, born Januay 11, 1931 in Lourdes, John "Jack" Walters died quietly in his Chicago home early on June 9.   Visitation is Saturday, June 14 from 9 - 10 a.m. with a memorial Mass starting 10 a.m. at  Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Lourdes.
