Mary Catherine Link, age 103 of Elma and formerly of Ionia, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, at Colonial Manor in Elma. 

Genevieve “Ginny” Ann Buechner Lynch, age 80 of Athens, Georgia, died on Friday, Feb. 1, 2024, after a long battle with cancer.  She spent her final days at home, surrounded by her loving family. 

Steven L. Brase, age 63 of rural Plainfield, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024, at UnityPoint-Allen Memorial in Waterloo.

Steve was born on Feb. 17, 1960, in Charles City, the son of Lorenz and Wilma (Shipp) Brase.

Dean W. Allen, age 70 of Red Bluff, Califiornia, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Dean was born June 8, 1953 in New Hampton, the son of Darrell K. and Thelma (Means) Allen. 

Thelma Allen, age 96 of New Hampton, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, at the Shell Rock Healthcare Center. 

Madonna (Donna) Ann Cashman, age 94, died at Memorial Hospital in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024. 

A Mass of Christian Burial for family and friends will be held at a later date.

Dorothy Marilyn Campbell, age 94 of Nashua, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City.

Luella “Swede” Shores, age 95 of Little Turkey, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024, at Community Memorial Hospital in Sumner.

Sandra Kay Szalkowski, age 78 of Nashua, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024, at Cedar Vale Assisted Living in Nashua.

Edith Nadine Schumacher, age 89 of New Hampton, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, at New Hampton Nursing and Rehab in New Hampton.

Mark Wood, age 64 of Nashua, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.

Jami R. Kasemeier, age 39 of Waukon, died unexpectedly on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024, in Waukon.

A service will be held Thursday, Feb, 1, 2024, at 7 p.m. at Martin-Grau Funeral Home in Waukon with Pastor Ken Kimball officiating.
