County OKs settlement, new 28E

The Ambulance Council could dramatically change if seven cities follow in the steps of the Board of Supervisors and approve a new 28E agreement and a settlement agreement.

David Bruce Reichter, 77

David Bruce Reichter, age 77 of Elkader, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at MercyOne Elkader Medical Center.
Dave was born on Sept. 18, 1943, in Fort Dodge, the son of Wendell and Bernice (Keen) Reichter of Goldfield.

Soph continues strong play as Turkey Valley girls roll

It might be pretty intimidating for Jacqlyn Schmitt, a sophomore playing for the Turkey Valley girls. Not only is she playing with some seasoned veterans on her team, but some of those players are also state leaders. 

Chickasaws get a lift with return of Wemark

Superman he is not. 
But New Hampton junior forward Drake Wemark brings a lot to the table where the New Hampton boys basketball team is concerned. 
He's back!!!

Putting it all together

The lack of depth coach Chris Sullivan has on the Turkey Valley boys basketball team wasn’t evident in the stat charts after the Trojan 82-30 win over Riceville last Monday. 

Cities leaving Ambulance Council

The Chickasaw County Ambulance Council is growing smaller by the week.
At least, the current council is.
