Trojans will get a Friday night off

Turkey Valley’s football team will get a Friday night off this week as its opponent has decided to cancel its football season.
And it has nothing to do with COVID-19.
The Trojans were scheduled to travel to Clarksville Friday night for an eight-man matchup, but the Indians announced Thursday that they are canceling their season because of low numbers.
Turkey Valley will play a road game next week against Janesville before concluding the regular season with a home game against North Iowa High out of Buffalo Center on Oct. 9.
