    The one and only chance to watch the New Hampton cross country team at home takes place Thursday, Oct. 5 at the New Hampton Golf and Country Club.    Runners from Turkey Valley, Nashua-Plainfield, Sumner-Fredericksburg, Central Springs, Clayton Ridge, Crestwood, Denver, Dunkerton, Lansing Kee, North Fayette Valley, Oelwein, Riceville, St. Ansgar, Tripoli and Valley Lutheran are invited to join the Chickasaws at the meet.    One change this year, the 45th year for the meet, will be a parking fee of $5 per car, which will go back to the New Hampton Golf and Country Club for course repairs.    The schedule starts with a 2-mile junior high race at 4:15. The girls JV starts at 4:35, the boys JV at 5:10, the girls varsity at 5:45 and the boys varsity at 6:20, with awards after the boys race.
