Shelter to hold car show on Main

All classic cars, hot rods and trucks are welcomed at the 1st Annual Car Show for C & W Rustic Hollow Shelter on Sept. 10 on Main Street.No matter the year, make or model of the old classic come and enjoy a fun filled day while supporting a good cause.The C & W Rustic Hollow Car Show will not have classes it will be a group judging contest.There will be a Mayor’s Pick award along with the People’s Choice Award with other prizes and awards. The first 40 will receive dash plaques and a welcome gift.Anyone can register online on their Facebook page 2016 Car Show for Rustic Hollow Shelter - A Special Needs Feline Sanctuary or register Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to noon in front of The Scratching Post Thrift ’n Gift Shop on Main Street.Entry donation will be $15 per car.The car show will be held on the 200-300 blocks of Main Street from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with awards beginning at 3:30 p.m.A DJ, Sidetrackt will be playing music along with craft and home-based businesses along Main Street for all to enjoy throughout the day.
