Norbert H. Jenn, 83

Norbert H. Jenn, age 83, of Ionia, IA passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at New Hampton Nursing and Rehab in New Hampton.

Norbert “Norb” Howard was born October 28, 1936, the son of Frank and Letha (Bucknell) Jenn. He attended and graduated from St. Boniface School in Ionia. After completing his education, Norb enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp and proudly served his country until his honorable discharge. When he returned home, Norb worked at Oliver White Farm Equipment as a machinist for 29 years until his retirement. He also farmed the Jenn Family Farm for many years. Norb was a member of St. Boniface Church in Ionia. He enjoyed bowling and did bowl a perfect game. In his free time, Norb took to the skies as the pilot of his own plane. He built and flew model planes as well.


Norb is survived by his brother, Raymond (Mary) Jenn of Waterloo, IA and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Letha Jenn; his sister, Elaine Krull; and his brothers, Virgil, Vern, Donald and Ralph.
