Lloyd A. Drewelow, age 79, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021 at New Hampton Nursing and Rehab Center in New Hampton, with his family by his side.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Kevin Frey officiating.  There was a visitation at the church one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.  Burial will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be left at www.conway-markhamfh.com.  Memorials may be directed to the family.
Lloyd A. was born January 29, 1942, the son of Reinhart and Arlene (Kohler) Drewelow in Waseca, MN.  The family returned to Boyd when Lloyd was a small child.  Lloyd attended school at Boyd.  After completing his education, he began his 35 year career at Blue Line Oil Co., retiring in 2004.  Lloyd met and fell in love with Carol Vorwald.  The young couple were married on October 6, 1962 at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Hampton.  They made their home in New Hampton where they welcomed their two children, Lisa and Ron.  
Throughout the years, Lloyd enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his family.  He could also be found enjoying a good Western movie.  
Those left to honor Lloyd’s memory are his wife of 58 years, Carol Drewelow of New Hampton; his son, Ron (Sheryn) Drewelow of Clear Lake, IA; his grandchildren, Joshua (Autumn), Jordon, Tayler (Chace), Madison (Justen), Lauryn, Riley, and Blake; his great grandchildren, Harper, Easton, Landry, Preslee, Maddux, and Ivy; his brother, David (Carol) Drewelow of New Hampton and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa in 2011; a grandson, Dallas in 2005; his parents; and his sisters, Norma Pack and Doris Cheney.
