Glenn L. Fenneman, age 94, of Marengo and formerly of New Hampton, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021 at Rose Haven Nursing Home in Marengo.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Hampton, with Pastor Kevin Frey officiating.  Burial will be in New Hampton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Hampton.  Online condolences for the family may be left at www.conway-markhamfh.com.  Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church and Essence of Life Hospice, 3207 220th Trail, Amana, IA 52203.
Glenn LeRoy Fenneman was born to Edward and Alvina (Kleinhart) Fenneman on May 14, 1926 in New Hampton.  Glenn attended school in New Hampton and graduated from New Hampton High School.  After graduation Glenn was married to Lucille Shipp on June 15, 1947.  The couple made their home on a farm near Fredericksburg.  Glenn farmed and later worked for the City of Fredericksburg and for Chickasaw County.  In 1958 he was employed with C&H Farm Service as a LP gas salesman retiring in 1984 after 27 years of employment. In 1986 he was united in marriage to Alice Steege.  The couple later divorced.  Glenn worked for the Fredericksburg Coop selling and hauling LP gas until 2000.  He then purchased a semi-tractor and grain trailer and hauled grain for the Fredericksburg Coop and local farmers until his retirement in 2012.
Glenn enjoyed his yearly fishing trips to Canada, camping, playing cards and Fredericksburg Dairy Days. He loved his Ford vehicle.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Glenn is survived by his daughter Janice (Lance) Manson of Zellwood, FL and son Allan (Sylvia) Fenneman of Marengo, IA; grandchildren Jason Denner, Ryan Denner, and Kimberlee Hartson; and great grandchildren Ava Denner, Sadie Denner, Ethan Denner, Abbygail Denner and Morgan Price.
Glenn is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Alvina Fennenan, his wife Lucille in 1985, and brother Alvin.
