Charles H. Jensen, age 88 of Mason City and formerly of Nashua, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020, at the Heritage Care and Rehabilitation Center in Mason City.
A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at Sunnyside Memory Gardens in rural Charles City.
Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory - Olson Chapel in Nashua has been entrusted with the arrangements. 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Charles “Chuck” Herman Jensen was born on October 16, 1931, the son of Clarence and Doris (Johnston) Jensen. He graduated from Nashua High School in 1950.
After serving two years in the Navy, Chuck worked for White Farms (Oliver) in Charles City. He retired from there in 1993.
Chuck was united in marriage to Ada Jane Rausch on November 25, 1955. Ada Jane passed away in 2008.
Chuck was a member of the United Methodist Church and the VFW. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, running the chain for the Nashua High School football team, running the scoreboard for the Nashua High School basketball team, curling, and cribbage. He is known for never missing a sporting event and always had his own spot in the bleachers at each event.
Chuck’s memory is honored by his four children, David (Sue) Jensen of Willmar, Minnesota, Lori (Randy) Jensen of Des Moines, Sue (Charlie) Harrington of Ionia, and Barb (Roger Hicok) of Clear Lake; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Myla Timmer of Mason City; one brother, Paul Jensen of Mason City; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; mother-in-law; father-in-law; one brother, Don Jensen; one brother-in-law, Fred Timmer; and two sisters-in-law, Paulette Bonwell and Garland Jensen.
