Businesses donate to school

Lead Summary

Holidays are the time for giving so it was not a hard decision to pay it forward for these local business owners. Paying it forward was the message owners of JTee’s Designs and Tangled Root Café wanted to convey during Nashua’s Christmas in Nashua celebration.Jessica Hyde and Kim Jenison, owners of JTee’s Designs talked to Chris Robinson, owner of Tangled Root Café and Catering about planning an event during the Christmas in Nashua festivities. At the end of their discussion it was decided they were going to help the Nashua-Plainfield Schools lunch accounts in need.Proceeds from the event came from items sold throughout the day at JTee’s Designs and the free will donation lunch which was right next to the checkout at the store. Tangled Root Café and Catering provided the food which was pork sandwiches, chips and a dessert and 100 percent of the proceeds went to the lunch account fund. For the complete story see the 12/15/2016 Nashua Reporter.
