Alta Vista ready to celebrate

Here’s hoping Saturday’s weather forecast is wrong because Alta Vista Days has a slew of activities planned for its annual celebration.Alta Vista Days kicks off its three-day run tonight [Friday] with the start of the AV Days Softball Tournament, a family bike ride at 6:30 p.m. and the band Whiskey Revival, which will perform from 8 p.m. to midnight.But Saturday is the big day as it is chock full of activities.— For more on this story, see the June 1 New Hampton Tribune.
