The Indians took both ends of a double header from New Hampton baseball on June 30, 5-1 and 7-1.
In the 5-1 loss the only Chickasaw run came as Brad Kamrath walked, took second on a single by Karch Landers and came home on a sacrifice fly by Taylor Hopp.
Cole Rausch pitched 4 2/3 innings, with three walks issued and eight hits, he struck out two. Garrett Hogeland handled 1 2/3 innings with no runs, hits walks or strikeouts. There were three NH errors.
In the 7-1 loss Matt Samec started the second inning with a single, went to second on a fielder's choice, third on an error and was batted in by Blayne Willadsen; those were the only two hits for the NH boys.
Blaine Hageman started on the mound, in 5 1/3 innings he struck out four, with six walks and four hits. Tanner Weigel came in for 2/3 an inning and struck out both batters. There were two errors by the Chickasaws.
The games ended the NEIC season for the team, they finished in a tie with Cresco for sixth place at 3 and 15.
