     New Hampton defended their crown last Saturday as they captured the top spot at the Stewartville Invitational for the second straight year. Two Chickasaws won their second championship and they were joined by another pair of NH wrestlers atop the award stand. Jordan Roths was named the Outstanding Wrestler for the tourney.
    Matt Paulus and Tom Mahoney won their weight classes last year at 103 and 130; they duplicated the feat this year at 112 and 135. Also winning were Roths at 119 and Austin Bucknell at 130. Roths won over two wrestlers ranked in the state for Minnesota on his way to the championship; in the finals he scored a takedown in overtime for the win.
    Lee Schuchhardt at 140 and Alec Lang at 171 were defeated in the finals for runner-up spots; Lang’s loss was by injury default. Leighton Gaul, Brandon Schissel and Logan Hopp all took third; Hopp lost in the first round, but came back with three wins, including one for third place over his first round opponent.
