    Eva Duneman, 86, of New Hampton, died Friday, June 20,  at Allen Hospital in Waterloo.
    Funeral Services will be  2 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hampton with Rev. Kevin Frey and Rev. Joel Dahlen officiating. Burial will be in New Hampton Cemetery with Al Lamborn, David Schroeder, Donna Rosonke, Paul Johnson, Tony Schissel, and Bill Ipsen serving as casket bearers.  Honorary casket bearer will be Warren Griffin.
    Visitation will be from 3 - 7 p.m., Monday, June 23, at Conway-Kolbet Funeral Home. New Hampton. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
    Eva Alma Duneman was born on July 22, 1921 to Herman and Alma (Denner) Karnatz. She attended school in Boyd, IA until the eighth grade. She was a church organist at St. John’s Church of Boyd. On June 9, 1955 Eva was united in marriage to Galen Richard Duneman. Together they operated Galen’s Hatchery in New Hampton until 1987. In 1968, Eva and Galen adopted their daughter Suzanne.
    Eva enjoyed making quilts with her women’s circle at Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed “mothering” and “grand mothering” family and friends, especially Ann, Sandra and Al, and their children Ashton, Dawson, Aiden and Eden.
    Eva is survived by her daughter Suzanne Duneman of New Hampton; two sisters-in-law June Karnatz and Carol Karnatz; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
    She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers Melvin and Duane Karnatz.
