Michael R. Huffman, age 69 of Waterloo, died Friday, March 2, 2018, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.
He was born Aug. 14, 1948, in La Crosse, Wis., the son of Raymond and Rosemary (Lucey) Huffman.  
He married Donna Berry on Jan. 7, 1967, in New Hampton.
He graduated from New Hampton High School in 1966 and furthered his education in Rochester.  
He was employed with Armstrong Circuit Theaters, operating the Drive-In theaters in Defiance and Bowling Green, Ohio.  
He moved to Iowa and was employed with Central States Theater, managing the Burlington Drive-In prior to becoming city manager for Hillcrest Drive-In, Starlight Drive-In and College Square Cinema.  
Michael is survived by his wife; two sons, Paul (Angelica Tovar) Huffman of Gilbert, Ariz., and Brad (Britney) Huffman of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Alex Huffman of Gilbert, Ariz.; four grandchildren: Nick, Grace, Nate and Gabe Huffman; a brother, Dan (Sue) Huffman of New Hampton; and a sister, Pat (Dennis) Ruffridge of Cresco.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers, Mark and John Huffman; and a sister, Peg Recker.
Family will receive friends at a Celebration of Life, beginning at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Casey’s 218 Pub.  
Private family burial will occur in Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls.  
Richardson Funeral Service is assisting with arrangements.
