Clip and Stitch quilt guild monthly meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18, at the United Methodist Church in New Hampton.
    This month’s guest speaker is Pam Shrock, Crisis Services Coordinator with Cedar Valley Friends of the Family.  The guild has been making and donating baby quilts to Cedar Valley Friends of the Family for the past few years. Shrock will share stories about how the baby quilts have brought comfort to some of the recipients.
    Fat Quarter Lottery begins this month, so bring a fat quarter to have a chance to win five fat quarters. Show and Tell projects are welcome.  The club’s new year starts in September; new members are welcome. Dues are at $10 per year.
