Lawler bank to host open house Sept. 4
Customers of the former State Bank of Lawler may see changes on the outside of their local bank, mainly the name, but they’re assured of no changes inside the friendly confines of their local bank.
Bank Iowa, headquartered in West Des Moines, purchased State Bank of Lawler in April 2008 from its majority shareholder Hansen Bancorporation. The local bank officially changes its name to Bank Iowa on Monday, Sept. 1.
“All of us at the State Bank of Lawler, live Iowa, work Iowa and now are proud to be a part of Bank Iowa,” emphasized Lawler Bank Iowa President Rich Kriener. “Bank Iowa is a respected, family-owned bank, and we feel very privileged to join its network.”
