Schrock recieves Friend of Education Award

Nashua -
The Nashua-Plainfield Elementary School gave the Cedar Valley Friends of the Family Organization the “Friend of Education Award” to Pam Shrock on May 28.
Shrock has presented the program “Take Charge of Your Body” to all the children in the elementary school for three years. This program uses videos, guided discussions and demonstrations to teach the children how to stay safe in unsafe situations. Friends of the Family partners with Prevent Child Abuse Iowa and local child abuse councils to help fund this program to all the area schools.
