The Good Shepherd Cluster of Catholic Parishes, which includes Immaculate Conception of North Washington; St. Boniface of Ionia; and Holy Family of New Hampton, are inviting worshipers to join them for a week of summer faith and fun for the whole family July 26-31. 
    God’s Kids in Action at the Adventure Fair Vacation Bible School will be held July 27-31 and is open to children entering pre-school through grade six. Those entering grades seventh and eighth are encouraged to attend, as their help is needed to guide the younger children.
    Child care will be available for the tiny tots. There will be lots of activities, crafts and games.  
    Meanwhile, Father Ralph Rogawski, O.P., and  Sister Helen Raycraft, O.P.,  who are members of the Dominican Missionary Preaching Team, will lead adults and high school students in “Building the Body of Christ in Communion and Mission.”
    Meet Father Rogawski and Sister Raycraft at all weekend masses July 26-27. Then join them throughout the week as they explore prayer, inner healing, peace, forgiveness, Holy Eucharist and community. This is a great opportunity to mend broken hearts. There will be opportunities for the sacrament of reconciliation.
    Sessions will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday through Wednesday. Each session will be repeated at 11:30 a.m. the following day for those with evening work schedules. On Thursday, celebrate with a Mass and the sacrament of anointing of the sick. The event will conclude with a short children’s program followed by an ice cream social.
    All activities will be held at the St. Joseph Worship Center, 202 N. Broadway, New Hampton.  This event is free and open to the public. All are invited.     For more details, contact the Good Shepherd Cluster office at 641-394-2105.
