Students create posters with Water is Life theme

The Chickasaw County Soil and Water Conservation District and Ryan Insurance sponsored a poster contest for fourth grade students. Hunter Grober (center) won first place, Austin Peterson (left) took second place and Shawn Knoll received the third place prize.

New Hampton, Iowa -
The Chickasaw County Soil and Water Conservation District and Ryan Insurance sponsored a poster contest for fourth grade students at New Hampton Elementary.
Under the supervision of art teacher Joyce Walter, the students created posters using the theme, “Water is Life.”
Hunter Grober took first place, Austin Peterson received second place and Shawn Knoll won the third place prize.
Seventy-five students participated and each received a free buffet certificate from Renegades.
