Praying for nation, government and community

Members of the community gathered at noon on May 1 on the courthouse lawn for the National Day of Prayer. The services included the singing of “America”, Pledge of Allegiance, 2008 prayer for the nation, also prayers for government leaders, members of the military, schools, churches and families, led by various representatives of local churches.
