Families in Chickasaw County will benefit from a coat drive conducted for the 21st year by KCRG TV 9 and the Show You Care sponsors.
    Those visiting Mercy Medical Center-New Hampton can show they care by donating new or good used children and adult winter coats to the campaign. Collection runs Sept. 1 through Sept. 19.
    Area collections sites are Fredericksburg Food Center, Bucky’s in Lawler, B&D Foods in Nashua, Schucky’s in Alta Vista, D&J Quick Stop in Elma, Fareway in New Hampton, Joe’s Family Foods in New Hampton and the cafeteria at Mercy Medical Center-New Hampton.
    Donations will be distributed in New Hampton by the hospital staff on Oct. 13 and 14 from 4-6 p.m. at the New Hampton Community Center, 112 E. Spring St.
