The New Hampton Industrial Corporation’s “Doctor Recruitment Fund” has reached half its goal to raise $30,000.
    Bob Soukup, New Hampton Economic Development director, said he’s been encouraged by the variety of contributions ranging from $25 to $2,500. Soukup said that he’s confidant that IDC will meet its goal.
    “I would like to invite everyone in the community to join the campaign and support the Doctor Recruitment Fund. Mercy Medical Center is such an important asset to its citizens and we want to invite everyone to participate in this project,” Soukup added.
    Community members can support the campaign with a contribution to the “NHIDC Doctor Recruitment Fund. These contributions are tax deductible and can be sent to P.O. Box 435, New Hampton, IA 50659. 
    A complete listing (of names only, not amounts) of every business, civic organization or person who contributes will be published in the New Hampton Tribune newspaper when the fund drive is completed.
